Circular patterns within the map of the cosmic microwave background may suggest that our universe continually cycles through a series of "aeons," rather than the current accepted theory, which says the universe began at a Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago and expanded extremely rapidly for a fraction of a second and has continued to expand much more slowly ever since, during which time stars, planets and ultimately humans have emerged, according to University of Oxford theoretical physicist Roger Penrose.What do you think?
